After graduating from college in 1970 the decade of the seventies was spent gaining experience in both the business and legal fields. Mr. Lentz worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and Ford Motor Company in management training programs. After graduating from law school in 1974, he worked in the Jackson County, Missouri Prosecutors Office and the State Public Defenders Office, where he gained jury trial experience prosecuting and defending criminal cases. During the post law school period, he also worked for and with several experienced private lawyers gaining further experience in both civil and criminal cases. Mr. Lentz has operated his own private law practice since 1979.
